Breast Contouring Procedures

In order to assist both men and women in achieving a shapelier appearance, Dr. Linder offers numerous breast surgery procedures to help enhance patients’ upper region. Whether a patient may need to reduce the size of the breasts, lift them to an elevated position, or achieve more curves, Dr. Linder is able to help with the use of several procedures, such as:

• Breast Reduction Surgery (“reduction mammaplasty”) – As a breast reduction surgeon, Dr. Linder is able to reduce overall breast size so that they appear more proportionate, and feel lighter. By removing excess fat, glandular tissue, and skin, Dr. Linder may tighten and firm the breasts, while making them smaller. Breast reduction and breast lift surgery, may also be combined to achieve optimal results.

• Breast Lift Surgery (“mastopexy”) – After various occurrences that include aging, pregnancy, weight loss, and gravity, women may begin to experience sagging breasts. In order to correct this, and to help women achieve perkier, more youthful looking breasts, Dr. Linder will remove excess skin and tighten it, while raising the breasts and nipples to a higher position on the chest. Breast augmentation (“augmentation mammaplasty”) may also be combined to add more volume to the breasts.

• Male Breast Reduction Surgery (“gynecomastia treatment”) – For males with one or two protruding breasts, Dr. Linder may suggest male breast reduction surgery to help the patient attain a flatter, more masculine looking chest. By removing excess glandular tissue, fat, and skin, Dr. Linder is able to smooth the breasts to appear more defined and male-proportionate. This can be achieved through the use of liposuction (“lipoplasty”), or liposuction combined with a full breast reduction.
